Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation has launched the Pilgrim’s Tomorrow Fund, a scholarship program to support the company’s team members and their direct dependents seeking financial solutions for college.

“In support of our vision to become the best and most respected company in our industry, creating the opportunity of a better future for our team members, we are establishing the Pilgrim’s Tomorrow Fund,” said Pilgrim’s Global President and CEO Jayson Penn. “We are excited to help realize the dreams of our team and their family members through a free college education.”

Every year, an eligible student from each of Pilgrim’s 31 facilities across the United States and Puerto Rico will be awarded a full scholarship to an institution of their choice. Scholarship recipients will be appointed a Pilgrim’s mentor to provide advice and counsel. Scholarships will cover tuition, fees, books and other associated expenses. The scholoarship can be used to pursue a bachelor’s degree, accredited vocational technical certification or an associate’s degree.

The inaugural application deadline is March 13, 2020. To learn more, visit tomorrowfund.pilgrims.com.
