Pork industry officials in the US have voiced concern this week not only on the current shortage of ag labor but on enhanced levels of that shortage with the coronavirus outbreak and spread, reports WNAX.
SDSU Extension Swine Specialist Dr. Bob Thaler says feed mill workers and truckers shipping hogs could also be impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak.
Thaler says while feed mill workers may be affected, there won’t likely be a shortage of feed.
