Soybeans Consolidate As Focus Turns to USDA Report

Grain market subdued before U.S. supply-demand report on Tuesday

Chicago soybeans were little changed on Monday, consolidating below an earlier four-week high as attention turned to U.S. crop data that may provide more signals on the impact of Chinese imports and the coronavirus crisis on grain demand, reports Successful Farming.

The soybean market has been boosted by export purchases to China reported last week and news that U.S. and Chinese trade representatives discussed fulfilling a Phase 1 trade deal in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic that has sparked a row between the two countries.
