The Republican Herald’s Frank Andruscavage reported on a feed mill fire at Lehr’s Feed and Farm Supply in Pine Grove, PA. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the feed mill and warehouse the feed mill was completely lost to the fire. The fire started after hours at the feed mill, so no one was in the building when the fire started. No cause has been determined for the fire.
Area residents were asked to stay in their homes with windows closed while the fire raged. Though firefighters sprayed nearby homes with water, no damage was reported to any private property.
An investigation into the cause of the fire will start as soon as the fire is completely doused.
