GEAPS/K-State Offers Grain Elevator Managers Course

The GEAPS/K-State Grain Elevator Managers course benefits individuals that are responsible for supervising grain operations or work in grain quality management.

The course will take place January 21-24, 2020, at the IGP Institute Conference Center in Manhattan, KS.

The course focuses on the science behind the practices used in grain storage, handling and quality management. It provides operations personnel and new or current managers with the information they need to correctly interpret the experiences they have when managing grain quality, and the insight they will require when evaluating the practices used at their facility.

Topics will include personnel management, grain quality management, grain handling equipment, grain drying, grain operations costs, grain inventory management, grain receiving and shipping, grain condition monitoring, grain aeration strategies and fumigation, and more.
