On a recent visit to Nebraska, Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue said it's important to not only increase domestic demand, but expand exports of ethanol and distillers grains that are a byproduct of ethanol production, and used for livestock feed, reports NTV.

The Renewable Fuel Standard requires a certain volume of biofuels to be blended into the nation's fuel supply and Perdue reaffirmed the administration’s commitment, as he spoke to an audience of thousands in the corn belt.
