Jeff Kiger reported for the Post-Bulletin on CHS Inc's plan to sell its Byron, MN, and Dodge Center, MN, grain elevators. The CHS acquired the elevators when it absorbed Greenway Cooperative elevator in 2014 but now claims that the co-op is better positioned to meet it's farm member's needs at the other locations it owns in the area.
The company is selling the locations in a closed bid auction and says that the locations "could be put to good use by another owner.”
