WJAG's Nick Stevenson reported on The Nebraska Supreme Court upholding the ruling of Lancaster County District Court, that found the Nebraska Public Service Commission is immune from the lawsuit Nebraska farmers brought against it. The lawsuit claimed that the Nebraska Public Service Commission showed negligence when it found Pierce Elevator Inc. was operating in the red, but took no actions for several months until it took away the elevator license. Farmers lost an estimated $2.6 million when the elevator closed.
