The Wenger Group names Brad Wagner as new CEO

CEO and Vice Chairman Phil Rohrbaugh will become executive chairman, effective October 1.

The Wenger Group has named Bradley Wagner as its CEO and a member of its board of directors, effective October 1.

“Following a comprehensive review, the company is excited to appoint Brad as our CEO beginning in the next fiscal year,” said Phil Rohrbaugh, CEO and vice chairman. “We have a high level of confidence in Brad as he has been leading Wenger Feeds, our largest business unit, for the last several years, and he is a proven leader in our organization who is people and results focused and, importantly, understands our culture and customers-first orientation.”

Wagner has been working in the agriculture industry for almost 25 years after working in public accounting for four years upon graduation from Messiah University. His background and experience include working in a family-owned agribusiness, owning his own feed mill operations, and leading the company’s animal nutrition business for the past five years.

He has also been very active in the agriculture and business community having past leadership roles in PennAg and is participating in ag advisory committees and Messiah University’s Entrepreneurship Advisory Council. Wagner also has board of directors’ experience as he now serves on the board of a regional bank as well as a mutual insurance company.

He and his wife, Natalie, and three children reside in Lancaster County.

Also effective October 1, Rohrbaugh will become the company’s executive chairman. He will lead all governance activities of the company and collaborate with Wagner around strategy and key strategic initiatives.
