The International Association of Operative Millers has cancelled its Annual Conference & Expo due to coronavirus.
The event had been scheduled for April 6-10, 2020, at the Oregon Convention Center and Hyatt Regency Portland hotel.
"The health and safety of each and every member of our milling community and our staff is of the utmost importance to us," said President David Jansen in a letter to members Friday, March 13. "After closely monitoring the risk and impact of COVID-19 on a daily basis, and speaking at length with members of our community, IAOM has decided to cancel the Annual Conference & Expo.
"We will process refunds for all registrations," he explained. "Please allow four weeks for refunds to be processed. Exhibitors will receive a separate email outlining their options."
