Speaker Information:

Ian Mealey, Product Marketing Director for Formulation at Datacor boasts over 30 years of experience with formulation software. His career began after earning a degree in Agriculture and joining a large UK cooperative’s graduate program, where he acquired extensive experience in feed business operations. Ian’s journey progressed from Formulator to Formulations Manager, where he gained crucial hands-on experience. After a decade as a formulator, Ian transitioned to Format International (previously Format Solutions), starting as a Support Specialist. He has since excelled in various roles, including implementation, software product design, and consultation. With over 25 years at Datacor, Ian has collaborated with a global clientele across diverse sectors such as feed, pet food, aqua, premix, and food & beverage. He is passionate about helping customers to optimizing business processes, improve ingredient purchasing strategies, and enhance product quality.

William Rabuske is a Senior Product Manager at Datacor, where he works on the ERP platform feed mills run their operations on. His route into software was not the usual one. He practiced as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and managed a beef cattle operation in southern Brazil, advising producers on herd health, sales, and financing, before moving into engineering at JPMorgan Chase and Zoetis/Performance Livestock Analytics and then into product leadership at Vytelle. That mix shapes how he approaches the topic of this session: data that moves across a feed business, from the mill floor to finance. He works hands-on with engineering on systems design, from technical scoping to the SQL behind a report.

Jamie Mesmer grew up on a family farm in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, where she still lives today. She brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience in agricultural operations and finance to her work, having managed the business side of feed manufacturing, retail, and vertically integrated livestock operations before moving into financial leadership roles, including CFO of a diversified agribusiness spanning grain merchandising, soybean processing, crop farming, and biodiesel production. That combination of operational and financial experience shapes her approach today as a Solutions Engineer at Datacor, where she works with feed businesses to connect formulation, manufacturing, and financial systems so teams can make faster, more confident decisions from the mill floor to the front office.
