Tim is an accomplished chemical engineer with extensive plant-level experience and a prominent leader in combustible dust and process safety. As a Principal Member of the NFPA 61 Technical Committee, he plays a pivotal role in setting safety standards for agricultural and food processing facilities.

Beginning his career in plant environments, Tim worked as a Process Engineer, Project Engineer, and Site Safety Leader. He then transitioned to designing explosion

protection systems, where he leveraged his technical expertise to develop tailored safety solutions. Following the publication of NFPA 652, Tim became a DHA consultant, providing unique insights into combustible dust hazards. Today, he leads a team of consultants and continues to shape the standards that guide their work.

Tim's deep understanding of operational challenges, combined with his expertise in explosion protection solutions and thorough knowledge of safety standards, equips him to offer invaluable guidance.
