The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released its National Emphasis Program (NEP) in 2022, which included the first federal Heat Advisory standard for the workplace requiring employers to know how to recognize and prevent heat-related illnesses such as heat stroke.

To help feed manufacturers comply, Jason Lents, engineering manager, Kent Nutrition Group, gave an overview of the expectations at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) 2024.
