Purchase includes feed manufacturing, grain storage, grain elevator in Tavistock, ON

Trouw Nutrition Canada (Shur-Gain) has acquired Yantzi Feed & Seed Ltd., based in Tavistock, ON, effective November 1, reports The Kingston Whig Standard.

The purchase includes the feed manufacturing, grain storage, crop input facility and retail store in Tavistock, the grain elevator on Line 29 North East of Tavistock and the retail store and crop input business in Brunner.

Shur-Gain is currently evaluating options for the crop input and seed aspects of the business and will be setting a direction in the coming months.
