Indigo Ag has selected Landus to collaborate with and connect farmers to sustainability solutions that are designed to benefit their fields and balance sheets.

Through this relationship, Landus will be the preferred distributor for Indigo’s ongoing sustainability efforts, combining its agronomic experience and relationships across the ag retail space with farmers using Indigo’s approach to science, technology and agriculture.

Together, they will drive engagement and participation across the ag supply chain, from farmer to consumer, using Carbon by Indigo and Market+ Merchandise as well as sustainable crop solutions, the FieldFlex suite of products and biotrinsic products.

The relationship will leverage the reach of Landus Conduit, an integrated subsidiary that connects farmers, aligned agriculture and grain organizations with collaborators to streamline the supply chain.

“The collective focus of Indigo and Landus is aligned around driving farmer and partner success,” said Ron Hovsepian, president and CEO of Indigo. “The depth, talent, and commitment Landus is known for, as well as their scale in grain and processing, expedites our ability to deliver on the promise of making the regenerative sustainability market a reality.”

Indigo’s Carbon, biotrinsic and Market+ solutions are designed to help farmers turn their sustainability practices on each field into profits. Indigo said its team of scientists are also delivering patented solutions that are designed to improve crop performance and increase pest, biotic and climate stress tolerance.

“We’re joining hands with the global industry leader in sustainability,” said Matt Carstens, president and CEO of Landus. “This expands our relationship with Indigo to enhance the tools and products available to increase farmer success. We know the downstream consumer is keenly interested in the story of their grain and as a preferred sustainability partner for Indigo, Landus can help trace that story with data and technology.”

The relationship will focus on both current and future solutions.

“This agreement will help farmers today through our current offerings, but also the farmer of tomorrow as Indigo will continue to leverage leading-edge technical capabilities in the microbial, digital, and sustainability arenas to create new products and services for our customers across the Ag supply chain,” said Hovsepian.
