Fire destroys grain cooperative in Indiana

More than 10 emergency crews battled the fire at the Dillsboro branch of Laughery Valley Ag Co-op.

A massive fire destroyed the Dillsboro, Indiana, branch of Laughery Valley Ag Co-op on December 15.

According to reports, more than fire departments responded to the scene and battled the flames for almost six hours.

The company responded that "all employees are safe but we are heartbroken."

Officials have not determined the estimated damage to the property.

Residents in the area said it was the main place for local farmers to go to get animal feed.

"It's just one of them things we gotta worry about where we're gonna get our feed for the cows — it's just devastating," Clay Cutter told WLWT.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
