Bushel has added Michael Sharov as Chief Growth Officer.

Sharov will lead product and strategy efforts designed to build on Bushel’s vision of a robust digital infrastructure to the grain supply chain.

As Bushel’s Chief Growth Officer (CGO), Sharov will oversee the daily operations and further buildout of the product and strategy teams to prepare Bushel for the next level of growth and scale. As Bushel continues to build out products to support more points within the supply chain, he will lead efforts for prioritizing and standardizing the roadmap, and provide insights for pricing, selling, and positioning strategies.

Sharov will be responsible for working with Bushel’s strategic and enterprise partners to ensure broad market needs are incorporated into the product development and enhancement cycle and Bushel’s strategic priorities.

“Michael’s experiences and perspectives are going to help Bushel continue accelerating towards our mission to strengthen relationships throughout the supply chain and create ways for our customers to streamline their operations,” Ryan Raguse, president and co-founder of Bushel, says. “His ability to ask the toughest questions and provide insights from around the ag and business sectors will create an even stronger Bushel team.”

Sharov comes to Bushel after serving as Head of Strategy for Caterpillar Digital in Chicago, IL. Previously, as Head of Global Digital Strategy at DowDupont (now Corteva), he was instrumental in creating Encirca Services, orchestrating the acquisition of Granular and serving on its leadership team, and helping lay the groundwork for its sustainability strategy. Previous to his roles at CAT and DowDupont, Sharov enjoyed a 12-year career at John Deere most recently leading international business development and strategy.

Bushel has so many opportunities in front of it and I’m looking forward to helping propel the initiatives that most advantage the customer, develop the team, and nourish the world,” Sharov says.

“I have known Bushel for many years and believe it is uniquely positioned to be an independent third party providing the digital infrastructure that truly helps create better experiences for originators, processors, and farmers along the grain supply chain.”
