Welcome to IPPE 2021! The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) is holding its first-ever virtual event this week. The new format will keep attendees safe, while allowing them to participate from anywhere in the world.

Although the 2021 show doesn’t offer an in-person component, there are still opportunities to connect and engage with others in the feed, poultry and related industries.

Engagement opportunities

Through the IPPE Marketplace portal, 30,000 invited attendees will be able to search more than 1,000 exhibitors using product categories and keywords to find the vendors that match their needs.

The Marketplace also offers access to both live and pre-recorded education to learn about the latest topics and technologies essential to the poultry, livestock and animal food industries. Some 2021 IPPE Marketplace highlights include:

TECHTalks

IPPE is offering short educational presentations by exhibitors regarding operations and technical issues critical to all aspects of the animal food, meat and poultry industries.

Innovation Station/New Product Showcase

Exhibitors are showcasing their newest technology through IPPE’s Innovation Station/ New Product Showcase.

USPOULTRY Foundation College Student Career Program

From Jan. 26-28, the USPOULTRY Foundation College Student Career Program will be offered online. Hundreds of students will have an opportunity to interview for jobs and internships within the poultry and egg industry.

Linked In With Tomorrow’s Leaders

IPPE is offering an online “IPPE Linked In With Tomorrow’s Leaders” program designed to recognize leadership qualities in young professionals. The program will include participation in a LinkedIn™ group and online meet-ups with key industry leaders to further their leadership development.

IPPE's FREE Feed Production Education Program will be happening Thursday, January 28, from 3 to 5 p.m.

With a new administration in 2021, regulations may evolve for the feed industry. This program will provide updates from several federal agencies including DOL, EPA, FDA and OSHA. In addition, a keynote speaker from Aviagen, Inc. will provide insights on food safety and biosecurity practices.
