The head of Renewable Fuels Nebraska says the state’s ethanol production has almost returned to pre pandemic levels.
Pam Miller tells Brownfield nearly every plant is back online after many were shut down this time a year ago.
“Most plants are back up at full production, which is somewhere near 2.5 billion gallons of ethanol a year that we produce – the second largest producing state in the country,” Miller says. “It’s great to be back. It’s great to be running these plants at full speed making a wonderful product.”
