The House of Representatives and Senate have headed into a recess, but on the to-do list for when legislators return is the farm bill, reports NWA.
The bill is set to expire at the end of September. Lawmakers will try to hash out a compromise farm bill after recess.
This annoucement comes after President Trump revealed a $12 billion temporary aid package to farmers across the nation to offset the estimated $11 billion in financial losses the farmers will face.
