NCGA Requests Extension for RFS Waiver Comments
Last week the Environmental Protection Agency started the 30-day comment period on the waiver request of the Renewable Fuel Standard. On Aug. 31, NCGA President Garry Niemeyer sent a letter to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson requesting an additional 30-day extension, citing harvest and the uncertainty of this year’s corn crop.
