NBC News’ Erin Dean, Saphora Smith and Erik Ortiz reported on an explosion at Didion Milling in Cambria, WI that occurred around 11 P.M. on Wednesday night. At least one person was confirmed dead by the local sheriff, while at least two more are still missing. The mill was running a shift of 16 when the explosion took place, and while two made it out of the facility unharmed, the extent of the rest the employee's injuries is still unknown.
The Red Cross of Wisconsin and 36 other agencies responded to the disaster. The cause of the explosion is currently unknown, but the damage to the facility is immense.
