The west-central Minnesota boy critically injured in a grain silo accident on Saturday has died, reports Bring Me the News.

An update on the condition of Alex Boesl was posted on his CaringBridge page, confirming he had succumbed to his injuries.

Alex had been at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis since the accident, when he was overcome with fumes alongside his father, Curt, at a silo in Millerville, MN.

Alex's uncle and Curt's brother, Steve Boesl, entered the silo to help, but he too was overcome by the fumes and died, with Curt dying a day later.

A GoFundMe for the Boesl families has now surpassed $126,000. You can find it here.
