Grain Bin Entrapment in Missouri

Man airlifted from Ewing, MO, Wednesday

A person has been taken to the hospital by AirEvac after being trapped in a grain bin in Lewis County near Ewing, MO, on Wednesday, reports WGEM.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish said that the person was working in the grain bin Wednesday afternoon when grain collapsed in on them.

Crews used a grain rescue tube, working to help free the man, who was then taken by air evac to a hospital.

Authorities haven't released the man's name or condition.
