According The Joplin Globe, Chris Chapman Jr., the owner of Whitehead Farm Supply, plans to rebuild a feed mill that suffered heavy fire damage last Friday, June 4.
The 60-year-old feed mill is the only business in La Russell, MO, and Chapman has received support from the community.
The mill is already selling bagged feed again and is already working on getting a temporary mixing and catching line installed.
Most of the grain stored at the mill has been heat- and smoke-damaged and will be written off as a loss.
