The use of squaring plates fastened to the top and bottom of every pair of legs hold the sections firmly in place, while alignment pins guide the sections together securely, eliminating the twisting that commonly occurs in erecting elevator legs. The system is standard on all Sukup Bucket Elevators and ensures a straight-on connection before the sections are bolted together. It's a faster and safer way to guarantee a twist-free elevator.
