Constructed entirely of stainless steel and aluminum to eliminate percussion arcs, the Nilfisk CMF A17 EXP vacuum is suitable for collecting materials like grains, sugar, ethanol and aluminum without sparking, reducing the threat of explosion and fire. To further protect workers, it is powered by compressed air and has built-in antistatic features including: a static grounding wire that ensures a high level of conductivity for static dissipation; antistatic wheels mounted on rigid and swiveling castors for easy maneuverability; and an antistatic filter with 21 square feet of surface area that guarantees high filtration efficiency and prevents premature clogging. All components of the vacuum are conductive; and all non-metallic components are carbon-impregnated for conductivity.
