STRUCTURAL FEATURES:
This project was a (5) bin structure with a slip height of 165’-6”.
- (2) 52’-0” Dia. Bins
- (2) 27’-0” Dia. Bins
- Interstice Bin
J-Sons Inc. scope of work also included foundation and tunnels, bin bottom, concrete roof, concrete floor and (2) steel floors. The (2) 27’-0” bins had steel hoppers with live bottom screws. The interstice bin has a steel discharge hopper.
