A fire at a corn drying facility in Albion, WI, has been smoldering for four days after the original fire department response, reports WCLO.

Firefighters responded Friday night and were scheduled to return Monday noon to help the owner excavate the remaining corn in the bin.

Edgerton Fire Protection District Chief Randall Pickering estimates damage close to $100,000, including the control room, a drying bin, and about 12,000 bushels of corn.

No one was hurt.
