What to do with vomitoxin-contaminated wheat that’s too contaminated to be sold but not contaminated enough to be destroyed for insurance is a question that’s occupying many of the region’s wheat farmers.

Above 10 ppm, vomitoxin-contaminated wheat can be destroyed for crop insurance, and below 2 it can still be sold to millers.
