The Andersons officials confirmed two employees died Friday after being trapped inside a grain storage tank at the company’s Toledo facility on Edwin Drive, reports the Toledo Blade.

On Sunday, The Blade reported the coroner ruled the deaths accidental and identified the men as 29-year-old Joshua Stone, Rossford, and 56-year-old James Heilman, Perrysburg.

The coroner said the men were breaking up compacted grain when it's believed they came upon an air pocket, causing grain to collapse around and on them.

The Anderson's released a statement:

The Andersons is profoundly shaken by this tragedy and the loss of two of our own,” said Corey Jorgenson, president of Assets and Originations for The Andersons Trade Group. “We are working closely with authorities to investigate the incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of our two teammates.”
