Train Derails, Spills Grain in Owosso, MI

Most of the 96 cars that derailed were hauling corn and grain

A 96-car train transporting grain, headed to Canada, derailed Saturday night near Owosso, MI for an unknown reason, reports ABC12.

Most of the cars that derailed and tipped over were hauling corn and grain, which spilled along the tracks.

Railroad crews were investigating what caused the cars to leave the tracks and tip over.
