Stricks, LLC and The Redwood Group, LLC announced today the formation of Stricks Ag, LLC. The new partnership will continue to build on the operations founded by Stricks. Stricks Ag owns elevators and a state of the art processing facility in Chester, Montana as well as various operations throughout Montana and central Canada. The Chester facility cleans and sorts pulse and specialty grain products in bulk, totes, and bags and ships via railcar and truck for delivery throughout North America and overseas. Its quality assurance and identity preserved programs allow it to fulfill the most stringent customer and regulatory requirements.

"The combination of Stricks and Redwood will allow us to accelerate the growth of our processing operations and expand our customer base. We've had a great relationship with Redwood as a customer and are excited to team with them. Our focus on supplying consistently high-quality product allows us to connect our local farmers directly to our end-users," said Tyler Streit, who will continue as CEO of the business.

"Stricks runs a first-class operation. Their origination strength and focus on the farmer, along with Montana's proven record of reliably growing premium quality pulses has built a strong foundation. We look forward to investing further and integrating our cultures, experience, and personnel," stated Mike Kincaid, President of The Redwood Group, LLC.

The Redwood Group, LLC is an employee-owned commodity merchandising and supply company headquartered in Mission, KS. Redwood was formed in 2010 with a focus on offering a wide variety of high quality products and superior customer service. Redwood trades whole grains, specialty crops, and energy products throughout the United States and Canada and exports products to customers around the globe.
