Stand Up for Grain Safety Week to Be Held in April
Week will help raise awareness about grain handling and storage hazards
The National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will host a safety outreach effort, the Stand Up for Grain Safety Week from April 13-17, 2020, to help raise awareness about grain handling and storage hazards, provide educational and training, and convey best safety practices.
During the Stand Up for Grain Safety Week, companies may participate by providing a focused activity and/or toolbox talk on any prevention measure.
NGFA and OSHA are partnering with key industry groups to assist with this national outreach effort, including the Grain Elevator and Processing Society, and Grain Handling Safety Coalition.
Stan Up success stories can be shared on social media at #StandUp4GrainSafety.
