CNBC's Jeff Daniels reported on how payments to farmers affected by the trade war will be delayed it the Government Shutdown continues. Aid relief will stop next week if the shutdown is not ended. The 12 billion aid package was announced in July in order to aid producers impacted by the ongoing trade war with China.

The partial Government Shutdown began last Saturday when an agreement on funding for a wall on the U.S. and Mexico border was not reached in a spending bill designed to keep the government open until February. Though much of the government has already been funded, the USDA was one of the government agencies affected.
