Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish told WGEM News on Wednesday afternoon that residents are still displaced after an ADM owned grain bin in La Belle, MO, collapsed just after midnight.
According to Sheriff Parrish, ADM is concerned about a leg that connected the smaller grain bin to a larger one on the site.
The concern is that the leg will cause damage to the large grain bin and cause a collapse.
ADM plans to bring in equipment to remove the leg that is still connected and residents can return home when it is safely removed.
