Just a reminder--registration is now open for the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) for attendees and exhibitors, to be held Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2018, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. This year's expo is expected to draw more than 30,000 people representing the entire global chain of protein and feed production and processing to its three trade shows--International Feed Expo, International Meat Expo and International Poultry Expo. It's an event you won't want to miss!

Sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association, the North American Meat Institute (NAMI) and the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, IPPE will highlight the latest technology, equipment and services used in the production and processing of meat, poultry and animal feed. It will also feature dynamic education programs focused on current industry issues. Learn more about what's on tap by visiting IPPE's website.

Register online between now and Dec. 31 for a discounted price of $50. Beginning on Jan. 1, the registration fee will increase to $100. Hotel reservations can also be made at a discounted price by visiting this website.

Continuing in 2018 at IPPE is the popular "Members to Atlanta" program, which waives the registration fee through Dec. 31 for AFIA members who manufacture animal feed or pet food. The program is supported through the sponsorship of elite IPPE exhibitors.

Also continuing in 2018 is the Young Leaders "30 under 30" program, which targets young professionals who would not normally be able to attend IPPE. Individuals between the ages of 21-29 who work for companies directly involved in the production of animal and poultry feed and are members of AFIA, NAMI or U.S. Poultry may apply. More information and applications can be found here.
