In case you missed it, our Feed & Grain LIVE Webinar, Thinking Ahead: Practical Strategies for Managing Mycotoxins at Harvest, is now available on-demand.

Many factors come into play when developing a grain or feed facility's mycotoxin management program. This webinar will examine potential harvest 2020 conditions — like outdoor storage capacity and propane shortages impacting drying — and how they may influence mycotoxin development in your region.

The webinar covered mycotoxin testing best practices ranging from sampling techniques to grinding procedures to analyzing the results.

Speaker Dr. Erin Bowers is an associate scientiest at Iowa State University working in the area of mycotoxin management in grain and feed. She earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and doctoral degree in toxicology, both from ISU, and is currently a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at Iowa State.
