North Dakota Wheat Production Up Substantially

Wheat production in North Dakota this year is expected to be up substantially over 2017, reports the Bradenton Herald.

The Agriculture Department's latest estimates put North Dakota spring wheat production at 312 million bushels, up 50% from last year. Both acres and average yield are expected to be up.

Barley and oat production also is expected to be up in the state.
