Quality Roasting investing $12M to build 16,000-square-foot facility in Gilford Township

Quality Roasting LLC is building a soybean processing plant in Gilford Township, MI, reports the Huron Daily Tribune.

Quality Roasting, which is a Wisconsin firm, is investing $12 million to build a 16,000-square-foot facility.

The processing facility has storage for 333,000 bushels, and will be do processing year-round. The center will have the capacity to process about 2.2 million pounds of soybeans a year.

Quality Roasting processes soybeans to produce crude soybean oil and Exceller Meal.
