NCI Hosts Soybean Meal Webinar Series

Presentations ranged from what is fullfat soybean meal, benefits of it, and how to process/formulate it into poultry diets

The Northern Crops Institute (NCI) recently held the second installment of their four-part Fullfat Soybean Meal Webinar series. This month’s webinar was titled “Feeding Fullfat Soybean Meal to Poultry.”

Between the morning and evening session around 150 participants from across the globe were able to learn from industry experts, as well as the authors of the Northern Crops Institute Fullfat Soybean Meal Handbook. Attendees were also given the opportunity to ask questions about feeding fullfat soybean meal to poultry, and the handbook.

Presentations were given by Kim Koch, Ph.D.; Robert Swick, Ph.D.; Dave Albin, Ph.D.; and Matthew Clark. Each gave fresh insights on how and why to feed fullfat soybean meal to poultry.

Presentations ranged in a variety of topics from what is fullfat soybean meal, the benefits of it, and how to process/formulate it into poultry diets.

Dr. Koch, NCI Feed Production Center Manager and one of the speakers had this to say about the handbook and accompanying webinars: “They are a guide to help you understand the unique nutritional properties of soybeans and how to extract the maximum amount of value from them by using correct processing.”
