The Elbow Lake Grain Elevator's grain dryer caught fire early Friday monring while drying corn reports the Fergus Falls Journal.

The Fergus Fall Fire Department was called to the scene at 6:30 a.m. as co-op employees and the Elbow Lake Fire Department emptied the corn out of the dryer so nothing else could catch fire.

According to Al Mashek, general manager of the co-op, there was very little damage to the dryer and it is still functional. They had it up and running that same afternoon.
