Man Rescued from Minneapolis Grain Elevator

Suffered minor ankle injury

KARE’s Jeremiah Jacobsen reported on a rescue from a grain elevator in southeast Minneapolis on June 12. A man fell 20 to 30 feet into a void space and was quickly found by the Minneapolis Fire Department around 5:30 a.m.

Crews rescued the victim with a ladder, and the man suffered only a minor ankle injury, according to paramedics. It remains unclear why he was on the property.
