Kalmbach Feeds’ newest feed plant, the Ruth Elizabeth Kalmbach (REK) Facility, is just south of its existing operations in Upper Sandusky, OH, and is made up of a concrete tower standing over 180 feet tall, surrounded by pre-engineered metal buildings for storage and operations says Ohio's Country Journal.
The facility is notable for more than just its size, boasting a high-tech operating system with the ability to work with just three main crew operating its command center.
Bulk feed processing means a non-stop workload for the plant, which will continue to increase its output volume as time progresses.
