Jones Feed Mills Embarks on $27M Expansion

State-of-the-art bulk feed mill will be built at Linwood, ON, headquarters

On Wednesday, Jones Feed Mills broke ground on a $27-million project to construct a state-of-the-art bulk feed mill at its Linwood, ON, Canada, headquarters.

The Record reports the new mill will be used for large production runs of common feeds, allowing other facilities to focus on things such as custom and bagged products. It also means less down time that's occurring as those mills switch between product lines.

The new mill will be built toward the back of the 25-acre Linwood property, reaching about 272 feet in height. It's being designed by Camar Mill Systems, St. Jacobs, ON, and all of the trades involved in the project will be local.

It's expected to be up and running by the end of 2019.
