Authorities are investigating the death of Daniel Feller, a MaxYield Cooperative employee who fell from a platform while grain by-products were being loaded into a semi-truck, according to a MaxYield Cooperative statement. The Des Moines Register reported on March 29 that the 57-year-old was pronounced dead at at the MaxYield facility in Belmond, IA.
The company stated the cause of the incident is unknown, while MaxYield Cooperative continues to cooperate fully with all appropriate agencies.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, IA.
