Indonesia may import up to 200,000 tonnes of corn this year for use in animal feed, Budi Waseso, chief executive of state food procurement agency Bulog, told reporters on Wednesday.
According to Reuters, Bulog said the chicken feed group has asked for around 200,000 tonnes of additional corn supply, but the government has not decided on the size or timing of the import yet.
