The Western Producer's Jeremy Simes reported on two separate train derailments that caused the closure of a main CN line and slowing grain movement.

Winds of more than 100 kilometers/hour forced the derailment of a 67-car train and a 13-car train and damaged the track.

Luckily, no injuries or hazardous spills were reported, but the closure did affect the operations of grain elevators in the area.
