Feed & Grain LIVE conference and trade show has added Dr. Dirk Maier, professor and post-harvest engineer, Iowa State University, to the line-up for educational presentations. Known and respected industry-wide, Maier will provide an overview of the latest post-harvest handling, drying, storage and processing techniques.

“Dr. Maier is a leading expert on preserving stored grain’s value, an essential management requirement at any grain storage operation,” emphasized Elise Schafer, editor, Feed & Grain. “As a researcher and a professor at Purdue, Kansas State University and now Iowa State University, someone with nearly 100 peer-reviewed papers, Dirk knows and understands not only the important elements of maintaining quality, but how to explain it and provide actionable information for facility managers.”

Maier focuses on post-harvest crop handling, drying, storage, processing and loss prevention, global food and nutrition security, and continuing education and credentialing of industry professionals in the global grain and feed industry. He joins an extensive list of experts presenting at Feed & Grain LIVE.
