Grain Dryer Cause of Fire in Delphos, OH

No word on the amount of damage to Bunge North America facility

Soybeans inside a grain dryer erupted in fire at a Bunge North America facility in Delphos, OH, on Jan. 6, according to a report by limaohio.com. First responders arrived to smoke and flames coming from the dryer three stories high and enlisted the help of the Fort Jennings Fire Department.

Delphos Fire Chief Kevin Streets told limaohio.com the cause is listed as mechanical failure in the dryer. Although the total amount of damages has yet to be determined, Delphos firefighters cleared the scene at 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
